[GIULIA] (Early to late 60’s) She is a wealthy and erudite patron of the arts who carries herself like a spoiled teen-aged starlet. She uses her high-pitched voice to pontificate about all the subjects within her grasp. Giulia mixes her aristocratic attitude with a perverse sense of humor. CAUCASIAN – SUPPORTING [LEO] (Late 50’s to 60’s) A prominent and ruthless art critic. Despite his short stature and frail looks Leo is as fierce as a Tiger when it comes to any type of confrontation. He expresses his opinion in a dogmatic manner and leaves no place for further critique of his ideas. He is confident of the fact that whoever disagrees with him does it out of ignorance. CAUCASIAN – SUPPORTING [MR. HARVEY] (Mid to late 50’s) He is a very powerful record producer who is willing to do anything to make sure things go his way. Being notably overweight does not prevent him from always looking extremely professional and sharp. CAUCASIAN [GYPSY WOMAN] (Mid to late 50’s) She is a fast-talking
street smart fortune teller. She lives on the street and knows
how to entice passersby with pity when begging for money. Her
hunting eyes appear as though to pierce the soul of the interlocutor.
MUST BE ABLE TO DO/HAVE A THICK EASTERN EUROPEAN ACCENT. [OLD MAN] (60’s to 70’s) An AFRICAN AMERICAN man with a white and black patchy beard living in a cardboard box in a parking lot. He is not a bum but rather a sage living a care free life, always ready to give philosophical advice. ACTOR MUST BE ABLE TO IMPROVISE. [ROSE] (Late 30’s to Early 40’s) She lives in a dream world and is not very much aware of her surroundings. She is a tall and voluptuous woman whose image would probably have appeared on the cover of adult magazines ten to fifteen years ago. Apart from her large lips she resembles an older version of a Barbie doll. CAUCASIAN [SANDY] (Early to mid 20’s) A young and attractive girl with a strange verbal eloquence which is in contrast with her provocative looks and outfit. She cries in desperation over the death of someone dear to her. ANY ETHNICITY [TRACY] (Early to mid 20’s) She is a very tall AFRICAN AMERICAN girl with a singing voice that can make the windows tremble. This character has no dialogue apart from an elaborate vocal performance in an attempt to showcase her talent to the man who promised to make her dream come true. Actor must be able to sing slightly off pitch in a loud and commanding manner. A singing talent is not required, just the willingness to sing. [BARNEY] (Late 30’s early 40’s) A goofy and sensitive member of a support group that is willing to pour his heart out to anyone willing to listen. His round face and pudgy shape give him the ability to make people really feel for him. CAUCASIAN [SKINNY GIRL] (Early to late 20’s) The model type, wearing a tank top, platform shoes, and a miniskirt when she waltzes into the Captain’s office to hand him an envelope. ANY ETHNICITY [RAUL] (30’s to 40’s) A loyal member of the road crew of a music band. Raul and his brother Marco do everything together but Raul is clearly in charge of all decisions. HISPANIC [MARCO] (30’s to 40’s) Works with his brother Raul in the road crew of a music band. HISPANIC [PRIEST] (Late 50’s to early 60’s) A grey-haired handsome man with a stern appearance. A serious expression is always present on his face but his manners are very friendly. CAUCASIAN [DOCTOR] (40’s) An amiable and professional doctor with
a compassionate face and balding blond hair who is often the bearer
of bad news to the relatives of the patients in his hospital.
